Shake it.
Feeling a bit sad about my toyrun, I told Ate that we could go home. We wanted to pass by Cold Storage, a small local super market but the crowd size was a bit unmanageable so we decided to head home. She then asked me if I wanted to have a snack. This put a smile back on my face and we went straight to McDonald’s.
I know it’s just McDo, right? But whenever I’m in Singapore, I always try to pass by Mickey D’s and order McSpicy, their version of spicy McChicken. I’ll write more about that later. What I want to share with you right now, my dear 2-3 or 4 readers, is my recent gastronomic discovery - Seaweed Shaker! You know the McShakers in Manila where you got to choose between cheese or barbecue flavors? It’s just like that but with nori bits! How can anyone not like that? I just love the flavor of nori. I love it in my tekka maki and I like munching on those Thai nori sheets. I even remember wrapping beefsteak in rice and nori when I was cooking in my apartment in med school. Fail. That didn’t go so well but this french fries snack is a must-try. Go!
Okay, okay. Fine. It’s just fried potatoes with artificial powdered flavoring. But it’s so good. And addictive! Om nom nom!
